The Ultimate Vegan Oatmeal
I have never really been a fan of oatmeal. When I started dating my boyfriend it was all he ate. I knew I could win his heart if I could make it perfectly for him but sadly I could never get it right. I was recently running late to work and after transitioning to a vegan lifestyle I thought to myself "what in the world can I eat on the go for breakfast?"
After a quick google search for Vegan Starbucks options I saw that they offered a blueberry oatmeal. Not really my idea of a great breakfast, or so I thought. I hurried to work and assembled my oat meal at my desk and after one bite I thought "Oh my god! I need to make this at home". So I tried to remember everything that came in the oat meal-blueberries, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and almonds. I went to the store, bought the ingredients, and added some dairy free chocolate chips as well. Now this is my favorite go-to breakfast in the morning. It's inexpensive and very filling. I think I may have cracked the code on the ultimate oatmeal now, because my boyfriend loves it, so I'm pretty sure you all will too! Feel free to add your own favorite toppings!
