Vegan Gluten Free Snack Guide
/Gluten Free, Vegan Friendly Snacks You’ll Love!
I’ve put together some really yummy snacks in this guide for you. As I’m sure you know, I am vegan, but not gluten free so when you all asked me to create some gluten free recipes I decided to launch a Vegan Gluten Free Snack Recipes Guide. One of my favorite bloggers, Jenne Claiborne or also known as Sweet Potato Soul, really inspired me to start making these guides after watching her amazing YouTube videos so I plan to keep creating more of these for you! This has been so much fun to create and honestly, my work week was that much better because I had these yummy healthy snacks to snack on throughout my day.
Does vegan also mean gluten free?
Many people think that being vegan also means gluten free. I’m here to tell you, it ain’t! However, the gluten free movement has certainly allowed the world to open their eyes to multiple dietary needs such as vegan diets which is why so many people probably confuse the two. According to the Mayo Clinic website “A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes the protein gluten. Gluten is found in grains such as wheat, barley, rye, and a cross between wheat and rye called triticale. A gluten-free diet is essential for managing signs and symptoms of celiac disease and other medical conditions associated with gluten.”
Being vegan or plant based is excluding all animal products such as the flesh of animals and their secretions (eggs & dairy products). Honey however is a topic of debate but I’ll leave that for another future discussion… (insert upside down smiley face here).
So what’s in these snacks?
Although these recipes are vegan gluten free dairy free and egg free these recipes are not nut free or grain free. But if you would like for me to make snacks that do not contain nuts or grains, comment below and let me know, because well, challenge accepted!
Seasoned Baked Gluten Free Pretzels
So these pretzels are so good as well as fast and easy to make! My boyfriend and I literally ate them up so fast this week. I’ll have to make 2 batches a week to keep up with how addicted we are to them! I hope you are too!

Buffalo Hummus Dip
This dip is inspired by Hummusapien.com but instead of using cauliflower for the dip I used drained tofu since that is easier to find in my fridge at any given time than cauliflower. The crackers I paired with the buffalo hummus dip are Simple Mills Everything Sprouted Seed Gluten Free Crackers which are not only gluten free and vegan but they are also sugar free as well. I would also recommend their sea salt flavor as well. You can also use the Seasoned Baked Gluten Free Pretzels to use with dip as well (That’s my personal favorite).
Gluten Free, Vegan Granola Bars
You’ll absolutely love these granola bars! These are also fast and easy to make, which is probably a good thing because they won’t last in your house for long!
Note: To make this recipe (granola bars) gluten free paleo swap the peanut butter for coconut oil.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls
These are more of a dessert than a snack but what’s awesome about these sweet little morsels is that they double as both if you need that little sweet something at work on a hard day.
