  • Can I use frozen squash instead of fresh whole squash?

    • Yes! You totally can, it can be a bit overwhelming to cut whole butternut squash, so if you use frozen squash just make sure you use 2 bags so you have enough sauce for your lasagna. 

  • Can I use any plant based bacon? 

    • I would highly recommend using the Sweet Earth Benevolent Bacon. The reason I recommend this particular brand is because it has a really great smoky flavor which pairs really well with the sweetness of the butternut squash sauce. 

  • Where can I find nutritional yeast? 

    • You can find nutritional yeast in most of the health food aisles of the grocery stores, near the spices, or in the baking aisle. It has a cheesy flavor to it and also a good source of B12. You can also purchase it here through Thrive Market.
