THE GREAT FULL GIRL’S RECIPE TIPS FOR VEGAN BUFFALO “CHICKEN” DIP:

• What type of vegan cream cheese should I use?

  • For this recipe I used the Tofutti brand but I also recommend using brands like Kite Hill, Go Veggie, or the Trader Joe’s brand.

• What type of vegan butter should I use?

  • For this recipe I used Country Crock plant based butter but you can also use Earth Balance.

• What are soy curls and where can I find them?

  • Soy curls are made out of non-GMO soy curls and they are made by a company called Butler Foods

• What plant based chicken should I use?

  • If you won’t be using soy curls you can instead use plant based meat. Some of the most common brands you’ll find are Gardein, Tofurky, Sweet Earth, and Alpha Foods at local grocery stores.

• Can I use Frank’s Buffalo Sauce?

  • Unfortunately no, if you want this to be a vegan recipe you’ll need to use the original Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. The Frank’s Buffalo Sauce contains milk.
